SIM card migration

Within the iPhone box that you have received, there will be a SIM removal tool which looks like the below

Once you have found the tool, please follow the steps below to remove the SIM from your current phone

1. Retrieve your old phone and hold the phone face up

2. Insert the tip of the removal tool into the tray eject hole

Note: Do not insert the tip of the removal tool into the microphone hole

3. Push the tip all the way into the hole until the card tray ejects

4. Pull the tray out, and then remove the SIM card

5. To reinsert the tray, centre it first in the slot, and then slide it all the way in

6. Make sure the tray is fully inserted and doesn't protrude from the slot

Once you have your SIM card, please retrieve your new iPhone, and follow the steps below

Note: The SIM tray is found on the left-hand side of the iPhone

1. To open the SIM tray, insert the removal tool into the hole beside the tray and push in towards the iPhone, but don’t force it as this could cause damage.

2. After you have removed the SIM tray, you will need to place your SIM card into the tray. The SIM card will only fit one way due to the notch on the SIM card

3. Once the SIM card is placed within the tray, insert the tray into the device completely and in the same orientation you removed it. The tray will only fit one way
