Cisco AnyConnect Start Before Login (SBL)

Cisco Start Before Login (SBL) allows users to connect to the VPN before they log into their laptop. To complete SBL please see the following steps below.

Click the SBL icon on the login screen, as highlighted below
On the screen below enter vpn.estyn.gov.uk into the box highlighted in red, and then click Connect. Once you have connected initially you will not have to enter this every time, you will just need to click Connect.
Enter your Username in the pop up below. Your username will be your usually VPN username, if you do not know your username, please contact a member of the Information Services team.
Enter your Password in the pop up. Your Password will be your 4-digit code + your RSA token code. Then click Ok to connect to the VPN.
After entering the details correctly, you should see the screen below.
Once successfully connected you will be taken back to the normal Windows login screen. You should see a new icon in the bottom right of the screen, as shown below.
After logging in to your laptop, you should see that Cisco is connected.
